Government of Saskatchewan Expands 211 Call Line Supports For Interpersonal Violence

September 23, 2020 – As part of its ongoing commitment to addressing interpersonal violence, the province of Saskatchewan is providing approximately $421,000 over the next three years to United Way to expand interpersonal violence supports available through the 211 provincial call line and web portal.

This funding will go to United Way’s existing 211 phone line, providing staff with additional training on connecting individuals who have experienced interpersonal violence, including sexual and domestic violence, to services in their community.  Additionally, interpersonal violence content on the 211 website will be refreshed to make it more comprehensive and user-friendly.
