The Service Navigator began the call by allowing the client to share his story. She asked questions to understand his exact service needs, and whether he was looking for affordable/free options. She referred him to the Addiction and Mental Health Helpline, Salvus Clinic, Touchstone Counselling Group and Moncton Community Mental Health Centre (Horizon). She acknowledged the caller’s strength in seeking help and encouraged him to follow up on the referrals, and to call 211 again if needed.
